Description

When I dream
I dream in color
So much
I want to discover
Somewhere I know there's a rainbow
Waiting for me

so heres the thing about this manip
i saw a contest, to make something with a limited color pallet. so i started this. turns out i cant manip for the contest. but i decided to finish this anyways. i did it to challenge myself. i wanted to see ifi could make a photomanipulation with a pallet of only five colors. so i did. and i used ONLY THOSE FIVE COLORS. (WHILE BLENDIG A MIXING THEM.)
literally everything in this has been completely repainted. even the background
i honestly am really proud of this. and veryhappy with how it turned out. and i think its unique!
(pallet # 68)

critiques are apreciated!

Right off the bat, the mind sees a horse almost completely submerged in water. Why? It already has our interest, then we see little details. The ship, the way the horses' mane and tail are affected by the water. Most importantly, how the water is affected by our POV. Its cut in half, allowing us to see under as well as over, but more under. We can see the horse is almost one with the water, and it seems to have no trouble standing in it. We can wonder what shore it may be on, or whether anything seen naturally in the sea could come and join the horse. However, seeing no other animals or plants, the horse becomes the centerpiece, and what a dazzling centerpiece the animal is.

Considering this only used 5 different colors, all mixed and blended together, it is a strong and simple piece worth viewing as a perfect example of how you can do a little with a lot.

Great job! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=":D (Big Grin)"/>
